Youth Venture

Hey! I'm Celia and I am currently a senior at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. I'm on the board for my school's student-run newspaper, The Phillipian, a coordinator for our community service program, and a student leadership advocate on campus. Last summer I participated in a school-sponsored service-learning trip to Mumbai, India, called "Niswarth" (which means "non sibi" or "not for self" in Hindi, one of my school's mottos), where I was introduced to the world of social entrepreneurship and social enterprise. Since then, I've spent the past year engaging in academic and extracurricular opportunities at my school to learn more about leadership, social entrepreneurship and community development.

Some favorites: I LOVE traveling, meeting new people, sampling different cuisines, reading, writing, learning new languages, laughing, having fun, baking ridiculous amounts of baked goods, eating most of them, inspiring others/being inspired by others, planning events, running, hiking, community development, learning knew things...
