Do you know a high school student that has made exemplary contributions in the service areas of health, education, environment, economics, or community? If so, visit http://www.parade.com/news/2009/04/high-school-service-team-awards.html for information on how to nominate a student for the All America High School Service Team. This inaugural award will recognize five high school students who have made nationally significant contributions of service. The deadline for application submissions is May 8, 2009, online. Winners receive an all-expense-paid trip to New York City for themselves and one parent/adult, where, at a breakfast ceremony on June 5th, 2009 they will receive a medal from U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan with media recognition.
