Equality in all people
I am a firm believer of freedom of sexuality and believe that if you are in love it doesn't matter with who and you need to be comfortable with that. I have always felt this way but a sudden rush of it has come over me because of a show i watched last night. Last night i watched the sixth episode of the 5th season of project runway if I'm not mistaken if you have seen it you know it is a challenge to create an outfit for a Drag Queen. By the end of the show i was absolutely amazed. I realized that these men are comfortable enough with themselves and their sexuality to dress the way they do. I find it amazing and applaude them. Most people hide who they are and try to hide in normality itself. Those are the people who are not happy with who they are and cannot except themselves therefore they are being ridiculed because if they cannot except themselves no one else will ever be able to except them. That is one of the many reasons i dislike normality the way i do. I find it boring and i see no way that normal can exsist. Normal is different to everyone else so therefore their is no normal is there? So the people who hide in normality are really just hidding in what seems to be normal but is different to them. So by trying to be normal they are really being different. I try my hardest to except myself the way i am and i like to think that i do a pretty good job of it. Even though people call me a spaz and don't really like to be near me in the morning because i am too awake and just find me "wierd" in every aspect of the word they still respect me and except me. No one has ever tried to change me and i have plenty of friends because i have a mood and a sense about me that just makes most people feel better and when i am sad and down in the dumps most people try to cheer me up. I may not be in the "popular" crowd but i have my friends who love me for who i am and people that if they don't like me still respect me because i don't back down and i defend what i belive to be right. So it all comes back to the example that Drag Queens set. I wish i could be more like them, do i mean dress like they do, no i mean i hope to be as comfortable with myself one day as they are with themselves. So to everyone i say be yourself, don't hide, respect yourself and others will respect you, and when you have doubt that you can think of the Drag Queens and take an example from them.
