Millions dead; how many more have to die for us to get the picture?
If you think about it with everything we are doing that is hurting the environment aren't we just murdering and cheating future generations out of a beautiful and functional earth? I mean every piece of trash or every ciggarette smoked aren't we killing multiple peopleof the future? So if you add up every piece of trash and every ciggarette smoked haven't we already killed millions of people? I know it sounds a little drastic saying that we are murdering people but maybe drasticis what it is going to take for people of today to get the message. To be quite honest people today are very hard headed and to be frank; stupid. We don't pay attention to anything unless it has to do with death and destrution. We don't pay attention if someone says if you do this something great will happen no you have to say if you don't do this something terrible will happen. I think that it has to do with that on the news and the t.v. in general they show nothing but destruction and devestation so when people hearsomething good they are like "who cares what good is happening there are people dying over in *insert country name here* and so nothing good is going to change that" but the people over in that country don't want to hear from home that someone was murdered two miles away no they want to hear that the kindergarden class of the local school is preforming a play and there son or daughter got the lead role and that they will be recieving a video soon. So with all of this death and devestation that we hear that's how we get people's attention now. We can't get people hyped up about a project being done at the local elementary school but they will get hyped up and get in fights about how death and destruction are all that is going on. Well iagreethat there is a lot of it going on but there is also alot of great things going on and i think people don't reconize that enough. if people would just recognize that all the little good things going are making the world go round that it wouldn't take something so drastic to get their attention and to make them realize that they need to change something or "the world is going to end" and take that as an example to get my point across there i had to say the world was going to end.
