Have you ever wondered what can I possibly do to make my community a better "livable" place? Have you ever felt the sudden urge to try and do something, but just couldn't because you thought you were just a single living being? That all changed through Youth Venture.
If you ever walk through the streets of Jersey City, New Jersey, don't be surprised at the moderately poor yet diverse culture. Whether your Korean, Hispanic, Egyptian, Indian or other, you all share something in common while you rome the streets of Jersey City. We're all immigrants who immigrated to the land of opportunity not for us, but for the future of our children.
During the past years, I noticed many struggling immigrants and automatically I felt their ails because I myself was put in a similar situation. I wanted to help them but didn't know how. About two month ago Youth Venture was introduced to me through an early morning school announcement and that was my "call". This is what i've been longing for. As soon as i heard the announcement i thought of the many immigrants and the numerous ways that I could help them.
This is my story and how I began...
