Buddy List
When someone adds you to their buddy list you get a message saying this. However it doesn't actually add that person to your buddy list. It seems like if there was some sort of confirmation step then it would be more clear if you were on someone's buddy list and if they were on yours (a system similar to what is already on facebook and myspace). Just another thought for what it's worth.

The buddies for this site are not automatically reciprocal. So if someone adds you as a buddy, you don't automatically get them as a buddy. If you click the "view all" link beside your buddylist you go to a page with lists all of your buddies but it also has a link at the top labeled "Buddy of" so you can see who has added you as their buddy in case you want to do the same.

Great question! To add a buddy, go to the profile you wish to add to your buddy list. There should be a link next to the profile picture that says "Add to my buddy list". Once you click on that link, a request will be sent to that person. If you want to check on the status of your request, click on "View All" next to your buddylist and then click on "Pending requests". The pending requests tabs shows you who has requested you to join their buddylist and who you sent requests. You can choose to approve or decline the request from that page.
