Best Buy wants to empower teens. So they have pledged to donate money to charitable organizations which focus on helping teens in some capacity. The catch? Other teenagers have a say in which organizations get more cash by voting for their favorite group.

How it works:

Buzzwords like sustainability, globalization and social change have long since become standard fare in conversations about changing the world. This summer, a group of passionate, curious students from three very different communities will team up to explore how exactly youth can create changed communities, both in theory and in practice.
