Since 2006, Staples’ philanthropic arm, the Staples Foundation for Learning® and Ashoka’s Youth Venture® have partnered to expand Youth Venture’s global program to seven countries; Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Belgium, France, Germany and Spain. Staples was the first to invest in expanding Youth Venture internationally, making it possible to launch over 1,000 Venture Teams, engaging thousands of young changemakers on three continents.
In keeping with its’ own corporate culture of community involvement, Staples associates and managers worldwide have taken that extra step, becoming involved with Youth Venture programs in their respective countries. In fact, four Ventures were launched by Staples associates in Argentina and Brazil.
