Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship—SAGE—is a transnational social movement organization. Its global network strives to improve education by introducing business and social entrepreneurship to high school age youth. Its purpose is to advance youth business and social entrepreneurship in an ethical and socially-responsible manner. The SAGE experience begins with small-scale efforts by high school students, and provides them with an early taste of success. It also provides a stage where they can describe their successful business and social ventures to others. And for those students who are exceptionally creative and innovative, a national and world stage is offered.
SAGE and Youth Venture are partnered to provide the opportunity for SAGE teams nationwide to create social ventures. SAGE teams compete at state, national, and global levels; because they score more points in the social entrepreneurship area, SAGE teams that create and launch SAGE-Youth Ventures have a built-in competitive advantage.
