Our Courts is a free, interactive, online program designed to teach students civics and inspire them to be active participants in our democracy. Our Courts is the vision of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who is concerned that students are not getting the information and tools they need for civic participation, and that civics teachers need better materials and support.
Our Courts offers a message board where students can exchange comments with Justice O’Connor, and the site will launch a series of free, web-based games in summer 2009. Our Courts also features monthly Civics in Action projects from students across the country and has partnered with Youth Venture to create a new generation of changemakers.
