Myles Miller, 15 is the Managing Editor of Political Content at Children’s PressLine as well as CEO of startup 24/Y News.

In 2006, Miller became the first correspondent under 21 to report from the White House where he covered the awards ceremony for the President's Environmental Youth Awards.

Miller joined Children’s PressLine in 2005 after two years as a “Young Hero” with City Year New York. As Chief political editor with Children’s PressLine, Miller has interviewed various elected officials ranging from Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to President of Senegal Abdoulaye Wade. In 2007, Miller served as Government Affairs/Education Reporter conducting interviews with New York City and State elected officials and covered former Govenor Eliot Spitzer’s Trooper gate and prostitution scandals. In 2008, Miller covered the 2008 Presidential race with a focus on youth issues and later traveled to the Democratic and Republican nominating conventions.

In addition to being a member of the Association for Curriculum and Supervision, Miller is the youngest member of the New York Press Club; as well as a member of the Directions for our Youth Dropout Summit, which is a non-profit group focusing on improving New York high schools’ dropout epidemic. He also served as the youngest member on the ASCD “Whole Child Commission”, and host of the 15th Annual Do Something.org Dinner. Miller was featured in the “New York Daily News” “Fox 5’s Good Day New York”, and “Bronx Family” for organizing the Teens for Jeans drive at his school donating over 200 used jean drives for homeless teens, sponsored by DoSomething.org and Aeropostale.

Miller is CEO for 24/Y News, a multimedia news company producing news and feature content for the 12-17 market.

Miller attends Bronx Preparatory Charter School, a member of the speech and forensics is team, placed second at the National Junior Forensics Leauge national tournament. Miller plans on attending Syracuse University majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in economics. Miller resides in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx.
