Youth Venture

A Seattle girl at heart, I now live in Washington, DC, and work at Youth Venture as the Special Projects Manager. What are those "Special Projects"? Our University Strategy, our That Was Easy Online Competition, and our partnership with United Way of America to name a few. Prior to joining Youth Venture and its sister organization, Ashoka, I taught Global Sustainabilty Issues and Math at a boarding school in England. I also spent four summers taking American teenagers on wilderness adventure and service learning trips to India, Costa Rica, Panama and Alaska with the Road Less Traveled. I graduated from Yale with a BA in Economics and a passion for international sustainable development and empowering young people. I'm honored to be part of the global Youth Venture movement!
