Santiago, Marcelina, Gregorio,and Juan, saw an increasing trend of environmental destruction in their rural community in Oaxaca. Their dream was to teach their community of Teotitlan del Valle alternative technologies and practices such as dry latrines, wood-saving ovens and a collection center for recyclables. To support their work, they also they also give workshops for local families on composting, ecotecnology and recycling. This team has changed the way the members of the community take responsibility for their environment so that everyone does their part to keep the community healthy.
