C.W.B.N. Purpose
C.W.B.N. is an Internet television network, addressing politics, and other issues that concern the youth population as a whole. Original shows will be in production, consisting of news shows, satirical videos, talk shows, and the like. One of the main goals of C.W.B.N. is to educate the community and give teenagers ages 13-21 a chance to experience journalism on both Television, and print and on the web.

Commissioner Connell Wise founded Connell Wise Broadcasting Network on February 9, 2007, his seventeenth birthday despite living with ADD, 2nd degree heart block, Asthma and being Pre-Diabetic. He started to educate the community on global and national news, as well as give teens and young adults who are interested in news and politics a chance to experience journalism. In addition, Connell also shows youth that you can do anything you want to if you put your mind to it.
In addition to being CEO of the CWBN, Connell has worked for the Mayor of DC Adrian Fenty (D), and Ward 5 Council Member Harry (Tommy) Thomas Jr. Also Commissioner Wise has worked on the Obama Campaign in the Potomac Primaries Recently, Connell was appointed as a Commissioner for Serve DC by Mayor Fenty. Commissioner Wise is among the youngest mayoral appointees. Commissioner Wise is also the recipient of the 2004 Presidential Award for Academic Achievement and is an active member of the Junior State of America. He recently attended the Junior Statesman Summer School at Princeton University to study US Politics and Speech. Following his appointment to Serve DC, Connell Wise was appointed as the new executive ward 5 respective to Ward 5 DC Youth Advisory Council on November 10, 2007. Commissioner Wise plans to furthering his Career by graduating high school and attending his big sibling’s alma mater, Curry College in Boston MA, to study business and politics science. Commissioner Wise, who has a personal commitment to his community, has aspiration to serve as Advisory Neighborhood commissioner for his single member District. Commissioner Wise was recently chosen to be one of over 700 youth from around the world to represent the United State at the 4th World Youth Congress in Canada this summer. Commissioner Wise is also the youngest press reporter ever to attend the Democratic National Convention in Denver Co this August. Now Connell Wise is starting another new company call The National Association of Youth-Owned Business or (NAYOB) for short NAYOB- Is an Avocation group that advocate on the behalf or youth how have started there youth venture to Polices maker and also help there business group thought offering our member Business class and a network to other youth ran businesses. NAYOB is also dedicates itself to the development and advancement of youth business owners.
