Ashoka’s Youth Venture Academy

What if everyone in the world took the initiative to improve society? Ashoka believes that the most important contribution we can make to the world is to increase the number of people who are willing to stand up and create change to address social problems: changemakers!

The Ashoka Youth Venture Academy is a unique European Forum of young social entrepreneurs: a week when outstanding young people with a track record of social innovation come together and build a network of European youth triggering social change.

Next June, 60 young changemakers will gather in Tällberg, Sweden, for a week-long experience in which they will meet leading social entrepreneurs supported by Ashoka, business entrepreneurs and global thought leaders to advance their projects and reinforce their commitment to change the world. They, together with our partners and the media, will carry these ideas out into the world; especially to other youth who, in turn, will be invited to take action to make the world a better place.
