Youth age 13-18 can enter one original song between April 27 and July 8, 2009. Any and all genres or musical styles are eligible. It can be an instrumental-only song, or one with words and music. The winning song writer will receive: A trip to Nashville, TN to help create a demo of their winning composition with Big Machine Records at a recording studio; MacPhail Center for Music one-week summer camp tuition (for summer 2010.); three Hours of music industry coaching from MacPhail faculty members; and $1,500 Best Buy Gift Card.
