The Midwest Regional Office works to create tools and resources for Youth Venture and support young changemakers throughout the Midwest.
The Youth Venture Midwest Regional Office is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are working hard to make Youth Venture's Everyone a Changemaker mission a reality in Minnesota and throughout the Midwest.

NATIONAL YOUTH VENTURE SUMMIT IN WASHINGTON DC
Thursday July 17 - Sunday July 20. We'll be there, will you?!
SEEKING 200 VISTAS TO ADDRESS FLOOD DAMAGE IN IOWA
In response to the heavy flood damage in Iowa, they have created 200 VISTA Summer Associate positions to help with clean up and recovery. These are 8-10 week terms and include a $1,000 Education Award and a living allowance. There is also a limited amount of housing available at a local campground for $5 per night and dinner provided for $1 per night for the VISTA members from outside the area. MERCY CORPS PHOTO CONTEST
Mercy Corps is an international relief and development non-profit working in over 35 countries around the world. One of their primary goals is to work hand in hand with todays youth to build a movement of young people who think and act globally, have the passion to build a better world and are committed to ending global poverty. The Global Citizen Corps, www.globalcitizencorps.org, is just that - an online community of young people connecting around the world to take action against world hunger and poverty issues.
They recently launched a photo contest on our site that aims to build awareness about hunger issues and grow the movment. Learn more about the contest at www.onedollaroneday.org.
The Midwest Office is headed by Jennifer Aspengren, Director of Programming and the Midwest, and supported by four dedicated Americorps*VISTAs. VISTAs work to create tools and resources for Youth Venture, to establish local partnerships, to raise local funding support, and to assist young changemakers throughout their Venture experience.
