The best way of getting money is definitely grant programs. It takes a lot of time to apply, but it is worth it. I also do sponsorship programs for kids and animals and retain a small amount for operation expenses.

Artist Connect: Planning For Better tomorrow

Greetings from United Arts Society!!!

There is a wide range of art forms that most of us aren’t aware of. The realization of the need to bridge this gap has led us to found the United Arts Society. Through this society, we plan to fulfill a noble dream – a dream where everyone is educated about the various forms of art and is also provided every opportunity to further their interests in any chosen field.
UAS has networked with a huge number of artists from various fields of art who have come together to develop a forum which aims to restore, preserve and nurture art. The goal of this initiative is to ensure primary education in art and to revitalize its current state, under professional guidance.
UAS is sensitive towards the condition of art and artists. With our constant market study and strategic approach we are trying to find new work avenues and opportunities for artists in areas of performing, visual and fine arts so that they can continue to work in art field with respect and glory. We call this initiative UNARSO.
We would like to get associated with artists and art organizations to provide a plethora of opportunities, i.e. managing assignments, organizing events, assistance and facilitating. We are looking forward to learning from your experiences and working with you.
We would love to share our vision and dreams with you. Please let us know if it would be possible for you to meet us in our OPEN FORUM MEETINGS happening every Sunday’s at 10am at Time out Café, 5th floor, Sona Towers , #71, Millers Road .

We are currently worin on 10 Communities or District in Sierra Leone.
These children are WARCHILD & ORPHANS who lost their parents in the past 11 years war.
They are in pad shape and presently we are faced with financial problem to sed them to school since school has resumed in September 07
We need to pay their School fees, Uniform Books,Shoes and other utilities.

i have a few ideas in mind...but as of right now i'm looking to organize a outdoor travel and community service trip to zambia and malawi for a group of at risk youth, i actually got to travel to both these places in addition to s.africa, namibia, and mozambique this summer through a summersearch/international doorways scholarship...

We are presently looking for a group to start up in my country Sierra Leone. We are taking care now of more than 56 less priviledge childreen who lost their parents in the past rebel war.
They also need to be thought of HIV/AIDS but lack of funds to educate the communites.
If you would like to operate in Sierra Leone, we shall be very grateful to cor-odinate between your organisation and these less priviledge childreen who needs urgent attentions.
