What is the name of your Venture?
Everything to know about child labor
What’s your Venture idea? The idea of my venture is to educate the people who are unaware of how frequently children are forced into child labor. I am going to educate people on what child labor is and how we can stop it.
Why does your team want to create a Venture? We want to create a venture because there are so many people in this world that are unaware that simply supporting certain companies leads to child labor.
4. How will your Venture help your community? It will help the people of my community realize that everyday purchases have an reaction and that sometimes leads to negative outcomes like cheap labor. I can make them see that simply purchasing less items from companies which support child labor.
5. How will you determine if your Venture is successfully achieving its goals and helping the community? I will be able to see people make more concious decisions about what they purchase and how much they actually spread the ideas. If people start to spread the ideas and facts about child labor then I will start to see more people push for the halt of child labor. Hopefully This will cause more groups and events to start up spreading awareness even quicker.

Goals
1. We are going to educate people who are unaware of what child labor truly is and were going to do this by using an power point and spreading this information throughout the Internet.

2. We are going to make a table in my school, the Ross school, supplying information and I will have my power point displayed. I will also talk to the people who are interested and come up to the booth.

3. I want to make people join in the effort to stop child labor and the first step is to start a group and spread information. This will then reach out to people, and hopefully create more and more groups.

Accomplishing Goals

SMART Goal: #1
1. Get in touch with head of Ross middle school
2. Put together day for presentation
3.figure out everything needed for presentation i.e microphones, computers, electronics
4. Bring together information and create powerpoint
5.post power point on Gen V

SMART Goal: #2
1. Design and think out table
2. Figure out how to reflect power point onto board
3. Collect materials needed for table including projector, board, etc..
4. Put together table and show and talk to different people.

SMART Goal: #3
1. Get my information on the Internet and continue to spread it
2. Get more people to join in the effort to stop child labor by exposing more people to the facts and ideas behind it.
3. Get larger corportations to realize what they can do and include more big groups to help in the fight.

WOW... Seems like you've given your venture idea a lot of serious thought. Where are you now with your venture idea? Have you found a team? Have you finished your action plan and gone to selection panel? I think that if you want to raise more awareness through this community, you should create a team profile. It is far more visible than your member profile. It will appear in browse teams with all venture teams. Let me know if I can help with anything... ^_^
