Youth Venture

Performing Life is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the US that helps youth who are working and/or living on the streets of Cochabamba, Bolivia. We empower youth by teaching them performing and visual arts as productive skills for avoiding drugs and delinquency while improving their economic well-being through creative activities. Founded in 2005 by John Connell when he was 19, Performing Life is youth-led and managed.

• I launched a venture more than a year ago and want help to keep it going and growing
• Goals. • Unite with other advocacy and support organizations to minimize child labor and its harsh conditions. • Work in unison with youth homes in Cochabamba to refer homeless youth through our organization. • Begin projects with each youth to invest their saved money and thus better their living conditions. • Reach out to more youth in the Cochabamba through more classes in other areas. • Develop leadership with the youth to run the program. • Establish a network of volunteers to help more kids and offer additional skills. • Help families through the kids.
