My name is Francisco, I have Been Living In California For 15 yrs. I am looking for new ideas to make the world a better and safer place to live. I have organizing youth groups for the first time and hope to be succefull towards our goals. I am looking forward for our future plans about developeing our community into persuing the Greener World. I am a LATINO!

Hey there! Sorry for the belated reply! :-X Solar panels and roof-top gardens sound like a really great way to conserve energy and shift our reliance to renewable energy. Great idea! Have you completed your action plan? Let us know if you have any questions about it. The deadline for the Lorax Challenge is coming up really quickly and we hope you enter!

Also, I just noticed that you need networking help. Have you tried contact Jessie? She is a VIP and she started her won venture to help her community go green. She's a great person to contact for advice. ^_^

To answer your question, I live in Lincoln Heights, which is about 10 minutes (4-5 miles) northeast of Downtown LA.

Hi Panch0!! Welcome to GenV.net!! I live in California too! Lived here all my life. :-) How do you plan to inspire your community to pursue a greener world? Will you building community gardens? Helping to install solar panels? Selling reusable grocery bags? Like Kumar mentioned below, I highly recommend that you look into the Lorax Challenge. Great way to get seed funding to start your venture! Also, don't forget to join the environment interest group. We have some very helpful venturers who can share their experiences about launching a green venture. Let me know if I can help with anything... ^_^
