Bio

I was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico. At the age of 6 my mom, my younger sister, brother and me traveled to Lancaster, Pa. My father had traveled here a year before to get a job and find us a place to live. I started first grade here. I had to learn English from scratch. I was anxious to learn it to fit in. I learned English in 2 years. We moved twice. From my fathers cousins house when we first came here to Pa to a house that my father rented. We lived paycheck by paycheck. Then we moved to our current location. We've been living here for about 8 years. We still live paycheck to paycheck. i want to graduate and go to college and persue a career in journalism. I want to help people with the money I make. I do not want to be like many people and live on with my life like a routine and forget about all other needed suffering people of the world. I want to make a difference. With this program I am willing to start in my dream. I will be attending the first Youth Venture Summit. I am really excited to meet other youth who aspire as i do in making a difference towards equality amongst all people of the world.

  • I want to meet other people so that i could learn and continue to be motivated^^

Hey there! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner! Can you clarify your questions? I want to better understand your questions so that I can help. :-)
1) What are you trying to add to your profile? Do you mean backgrounds, slide shows, music players, etc? The best place to stick your code is under "Other Goals". You can get there by going to "Edit" and then click on "Personal Info".
2) Did you mean people you've talked to want to launch their own Venture Team? They do not need to sign up for anything specific to start one. They just need to form a team, find an ally (if they can't find one, YV staff can help), and submit an action plan. Here are a few links that may help them get started:

Almost forgot... make sure you join YV Summit. It's a place where everyone who is going or want updates can congregate. :-) Just click on subscribe (link on the left-hand side of the profile). ^_^

Hi! Welcome to GenV.net!! So great that you'll be going to the Summit!! I'm so jealous! I've been working for Youth Venture for close to a year now and I don't get to go... :-( Either way, I'm excited for! Will you be looking for a venture you can join? There will be sooo many!
