Newey is a Thai citizen and director of the Youth Venture program in Thailand, an initiative that is empowering young "changemakers," as the parent organization Ashoka calls them, to improve the quality of life in their communities.

Newey has quite a track record of working in this field, having co-founded YIY, a youth group that creates opportunities for young people to grow into engaged citizens and social entrepreneurs.

Her day-to-day role as Youth Venture director takes her to all parts of Thailand to meet, encourage and support 14-24 year-olds -- be they middle class, underprivileged, marginalized, or delinquent.

Dear Newey,
I saw the article of your blog on CNN international online. You said "Life for me is a path or a journey. I know I'm going somewhere; I'm just not sure where exactly. I remember when I turned 25 I stopped thinking about the future and concentrated on today, since thinking about the future was like waiting for a day that would never actually come."
I would like to introduce you a book called "Zhuan Falun". You can buy it at a book store or download it from "www.FalunDafa.org" free of charge. It's translated into a lot of different languages including Thai. After you read that book, you'll find answers to all your questions in life that you could not find answers to.
