Bio

I am an AmeriCorps VISTA serving my year of service at YV. I am the Bilingual Program Associate in the Mid-Atlantic office. Which means my focus is outreaching to Latino Youth, but I do a lot of everything else as well.
I'm really into media especially documentaries and lots of indie flicks. I'm also into reading whatever I can get my hands on and going to concerts and any live performances.

Love the color and font-size changes you've made to the Mid-Atlantic page! It looks great!! ^_^ Don't forget to create an event for the National Summit! It'll show up in the global calendar:

Great new background!! :-) What is the darker area that's in the center? You can only see a sliver on the right side.

hi mary -
nice meeting you on tuesday! After we left I thought of something for the website - remember how Jack was talking about all the people from South America and other countries on genv.net? I think it would be really great if there was a translate button or something on the website so that people could get a rough idea of what other people from different cultures were saying and language wouldn't be a barrier to connecting with other youth who aspire to change the world! just a thought :)
also...the next time mid-atlantic office publishes a newsletter, do you think you could put a little blurb about JJ Express in it? That would be really great - I just got shot down today by my administrator at school (he's notorious for not being very nice >.<) about selling our magazine at school. That was upsetting, but that's okay...we forge on! :)
