Bio

I am a recent graduate of Kansas State University, working with AmeriCorps VISTA in St.Louis for my year of service. Now relocating to Washington D.C. to work with the mayor's office. I am really excited, and well I am ready to start making a difference in other people's lives, as they will unintentionally make a difference in my life as well. I live by the quote by Henry David Thoreau. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined. An another one by Eleanor Roosevelt: You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do. I love life, and adamently believe that things happen for a reason!

Hey Letitia! Thanks for the buddy add! That's for the information about the NPO you want to start! We have an office in the DC area if you'd like to contact them about how we can help you with that.
