I'm a 4 ft 11 1/2 in, upbeat, enthusiastic, very social Asian (1/2 Japanese, 1/2 Filipino) chick from the SF Bay Area. Among my various interests are: cooking, singing (almost all the time), and playing the flute. I go to leadership programs/seminars (but no more school leadership class) and I sing in choir - that's what I do.

Hey there! Just dropping by to make sure you knew about the first ever National Youth Venture Summit. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet and exchange ideas with young people across the nation who are making a difference in their community, just like you are, AND visit all the attractions in our nation's capital!! That's right, it will be held in Washington DC, July 17-20. There is financial assistance if you don't think you'll be able to afford the trip. You'll definitely get something if you just apply. Hey! I really like your Venture idea. One of my passions is making beauty free and public. Seeing a beautiful garden, checking out a public mural or sculpture, or even having a trash free lawn space all make people happier, healthier, and more motivated. One of my Youth Venture projects is getting some local graffiti artists to paint a YV mural on the side of our office. Right now, the outside of our office is pretty dingy and is always getting tagged. Hopefully, the mural will let more people know about YV and help make our community a beautiful space! Keep up the great work with your Venture!
