Bio
Hi! I’m Lauren and I am a Program Associate for Youth Venture Midwest. I am grateful and excited to have the opportunity to work for such an innovative organization and group of people! I co-launched a Venture during college, which was inspired by the group’s individual and collective experiences studying abroad and away from campus. It is a student-led seminar and practicum that focuses on challenging common notions of service and activism, and was accepted into the college curriculum after its first year. I love to read (especially about all types of political, environmental, and social change work), to attend events related to those subjects, to walk, to spend time with friends and family (including my twin sister!), and I’m inspired by all forms art and design.
