Bio
Community Service has long been a passion since my first taste as a marcher in the Seattle Chinese Community Drill Team. From there, I ventured deeper into the world of service through my high school's Key Club, Service Learning Youths Group, and National Honor Society. The fulfillments of service, as the smile upon the face of a thankful food bank client, brings is the reason I strive to continue bettering my community. Two years ago, I was honored to be elected as Key Club President and is currently serving a second term. Furthermore, I felt that service to my home school was vital to my community's well being, and as the spring of my junior year arrived, I was also fortunate to be elected as the Health and Human Services Academy's Student Body President after serving two terms in previous years as Vice President and Judicial Representative. This past summer, I was also opportuned as my application was granted with a full tuition scholarship to attend the National Young Leaders Conference in our country's capital. There, I learned the importance of grassroot campaigns and the impact of such endeavors on the community. All of which motivates me to begin a leadership day camp for students at my home school.
