Youth Venture

My name is Lindsay and I am a 15 year old freshman at E.O Smith highschool who has just recently started a club called Green Teens U.S.A with two of my friends Jessie and Kelsey. We have started this program to help educate the youth and others in our community about how saving the environment can make a huge difference in our future. We have started by going to Center School, a local elementary school in our community and giving a presentation, and holding a workshop on eco-bags. The students and teachers were thrilled to have us take part in their Earth Day, and sharing our knowledge on why we need to keep our earth as green as possible, which is so we can live here for more centuries to come. I am very excited to be doing these kind of things especially with my friends because i know how important our lives are and one way to help protect them is to make the world we live in cleaner.
