Guestbook

The members of the Fourth District Youth Advisory Board are dedicated to stopping the destructive cycle of negative actions that we too often see our peers get involved in. Y.A.B would like to see the day that gang related violence is not present; where youth and adults from all areas of San Diego can come out and enjoy the people of their community. The idea of the “I Want to Live” movement came from the creative, motivated, and determined mind of a Y.A.B member.

Hi! ~ I'm the organizer of the YV Techincal Allies program and came across the Fourth District Youth Advisory Board's profile. The Technical Ally workshops happen every other Monday over a free conference line on a chosen topic, featuring an adult and a guest Venturer. One of the workshops we have coming up in January is on Conflict Management and Consensus Building and I would love it if you would share your experience/knowledge on the topic with other Venturers for that workshopl! You would have 15-20 minutes to talk after the adult Technical Ally speaks, and then there is time for open discussion. Let me know what you'd think! I'd love to have you join in: technicalally@youthventure.org, 612.455.2007. P.S. I'm very impressed by your Venture: it is such a meaningful initiative!

Welcome to GenV.net, fourthdistrictyab! Awesome pictures and graphics!!! :-D I, too, would like to see a day when gang related violence is not an issue... What steps has YAB taken to achieve this goal? If you haven't already applied for Youth Venture seeding funds, here is a link to some resources that might help:
