Senior at the University of Southern California. Founder and CEO of DeDe Dance Studio. 4th grade teacher. Community Leader and Change Agent. Future Secretary of Education.

Goals

  • I launched a venture in the last 12 months and could use help
  • In brieif,with my non-profit initiatives under my dance studio, I seek to empower young ladies in becoming future leaders and agents of change for their community and also instill in them etiquette, poise, and decorum.

Thank you for checking out DeDe Dance Studio on Youth Venture. We are a safe environment where children learn how to move & groove while also developing self-esteem, communication skills, and respect for their peers. We are currently located in South, Los Angeles but aim to grow nationally and eventually across the globe! We are developing two non-profits under our main branch: Princess Club and Ladies First which seek to empower young girls into becoming future leaders and change agents of their generation and instills in them poise, etiquette, decorum and dignity.

I checked out the website for Princess Club and your studio - it looks so great! I wish we had something that like around in our community - and physical movement is one of the best ways girls (and anyone) can acheive more confidence. Have you thought of maybe putting podcasts of some of your performances on your website so other people can watch and see what a great job you are doing? I'm not much of a web person myself, but there are several venturers on this site who are really amazing on the web - Totem, Madfusion, just to name a few. talk to you later!

That sounds great! What's the next step for De De Dance Studio? What age groups do you work with? Do you teach male dancers as well? Sounds very interesting!
