Youth Venture

My name is Chinyere Ukaegbu and I am a junior at Benjamin Banneker Academic Hgh School. I am the SGA president of my class, and am a leader in leadership organzations such as the National Capital Coalition to Prevent Ungerage Drinking (NCCPUD), Learn Serve International (LSI), Operation Understanding DC (OUDC), Imapct Scholar Program, and Soul of the City. I have lived in the District of Columbia all my life and have watched the HIV/AIDS rate in the district sky-rocket. It is time for a change. With my venture I plan to lower the HIV/AIDS rate in DC by spreading awareness by making informatve t-shirts and devoting half of the profit to different HIV/AIDS organzations in the district.
