Bio

I was born in Hefei, China and immigrated to the US at the age of four. I began doing volunteer work around the community, from reading to children at the library to ushering at theater performances. Having been nurtured by a community which has shaped my overall growth, I decided to start a venture- the Multi-Cultural Learning Program with several of my friends. The program stresses education and cooperation among all races in a social environment conducive to learning and growing.

Goals

  • I need help passing Youth Venture’s selection panel
  • I launched a venture in the last 12 months and could use help
  • I want to attract more members to further expand our cultural and ethnic base to become truly multi-cultural.

Interests

OMG, that's so scary! I haven't taken standardized tests in such a long time! I always get so nervous, but your members are going to rock the PSAT! Are you taking them on Oct 20 also? Good luck if you are!! 加油!!!

Hi Chi! Glad to hear back from you. That sounds so awesome. While I was in high school, the only place I could learn Chinese was at Chinese schools. These weekend schools were very limited. They never offered math, English or writing... I love how your program offers classes geared to what its participants need. How many students do you have participating now? And do you mean Mandarin Chinese? Have you considered other dialects?

Hi! I think the movie idea is a great incentive to get people to your tutoring sessions. Aside from Chinese, do you plan on adding other languages??
