Bio

Bilal is a Biology/Economics student at Stanford University. Having studied in both the United States and Pakistan, he has developed a keen ambition in alleviating global poverty. He has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Paly Voice, Event Coordinator for South Asian Tsunami relief efforts, and Team Director of a Biotech start-up focused on improving intracutaneous injections. In the future, he aims to apply his knowledge and experiences to driving Biotech ventures, particularly in his native land of Pakistan. Bilal is also an avid Muay Thai fighter, and loves cheese pizza.

Hey! Congrats on the grant! What are your next steps now that you have the seed funding as well as PR all set up? I just took a look at your interests again. Another group you might want to join is human rights. Let me know if you run into any problems while on GenV.net! ^_^

Hi Bilal!! Welcome to GenV.net!! :-) Gumball Capital sounds like a great way to alleviate global poverty. When was Gumball Capital formed and how many individuals in developing countries has it been able to help since then? Have you heard about the interest group YV Group - Poverty? You can join (click subscribe on the left) and share with the group members ideas you have for alleviating poverty. :-D

Anyway, so what kind of help are you looking for? If you're looking for seed funding to get your Gumball Challenge started, you've definitely come to the right place! Here is a link to resources that explain the YV process:
