I am a High School Senior. I enjoy running and playing soccer. I also like to expirament and create unique new recipes. I just finished writing a cookbook for children suffering gastrointestinal disorders.

Goals

I need help passing Youth Venture’s selection panel
I would like to work with other volunteers to create a "network against malaria program". Through this program, I hope to raise money to buy mosquito nets for children and adults living in Uganda. These nets are very important in preventing malaria. I think a "network against malaria program" will be extremely beneficial for many children and adults.

Wow! Tell me more about the cookbook you wrote! It sounds very exciting. there are some other venturers who are interested in helping other ventures out...click "browse members" and take a look at what their goals are.
You also might want to make a forum post on malaria or health in general, I think you are very passionate about it and I'm sure other genv users would like to hear what you have to say.

Hi beaniebeenie!! Welcome to GenV.net!! :-D What is your favorite food to make? Your idea to raise money for mosquito nets is a great idea! When I was studying abroad, mosquitoes were a huge problem. I woke up with at least 10 bites because I didn't have a net and OFF! did not help. What are other ways people can prevent mosquito bites and reduce malaria? Let me know if I can help... ^_^
