For the past 11 years, AYUDA has been empowering youth to serve as agents of change in diabetes communities around the world. By facilitating youth leadership programs and educational initiatives such as diabetes camps, AYUDA provides youth the opportunity to work directly with diabetes communities throughout the world. As a volunteer organization, AYUDA is unique because it was founded by youth for youth.

Goals

  • AYUDA is designed to be a youth lead support group for children with diabetes abroad, while also acting as an advocacy program for youth education and leadership. Therefore our objectives are: to strengthen local diabetes communites by promoting leadership, to motivate youth with diabetes to lead healthier and happier lives, and to empower passionate youth to become leaders of social change.
