Youth Venture

Amira is a graduate of GMU in Peace and Conflict Studies and received her Masters in Human Rights from Columbia University. She has studied at the University of Alexandria in Egypt, St. Anthony’s College of Oxford University, and the American University in Cairo. Previous to joining Global Kids, Amira worked as a facilitator for the Project Tolerance Fellowship and the National Coalition Building Institute in programs utilizing conflict mitigation and informal education as a vehicle for peace building and community development.In her free time, Amira enjoys traveling, reading & writing, running, and cooking.
