Hi! have you checked out GenV forums lately? It's such a great place to connect with other young changemakers and share your thoughts and ideas. http://www.genv.net/en-us/forum/2167

Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Well, the YV action plan will take care of your funding (up to $1000 seed money), but you need a timeline and a plan in order to complete it. The best thing to do is discuss it with people who are interested in joining, and in order to find those people, you can talk to teachers about which students they think would enjoy that, ask around in the community, advertise, etc. How many people do you have meeting already?

Sincerely,
Matt

Hi again, sorry for the delayed reply.

Well, it certainly sounds like you have a lot of great ideas already! An awesome thing to do in order to dispel stereotypes would be to film a regualr "day in the life" but from, say, three or four different perspectives to see where everyone is coming from.

Another idea is a "free-video" shoot, where you have people or groups of people come in and either act out a scene, recite a poem, etc, that they feel describes them. They don't even need to explain why, because the connections will be formed anyway.

Sorry, my ideas sound a little out there. But they are good starting points for other ideas and projects. What do you think?

Sincerely,
Matt
