Here's my E! True Hollywood Story:

Raised in Fargo, ND Jessie is the daughter of a Professor and a Chemist. In high school she danced ballet and was a cheerleader for her Fargo South High’s Eastern Division Champion basketball team.

After graduating high school she moved to Minneapolis to go to college at the University of Minnesota where she majored in Professional Strategic Communication in Public Relations at the Murphy School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She also earned a minor in foreign studies.

During her stint in college she studied abroad in London, England at the University of London, Birkbeck and held and internship at Help the Aged – one of the largest non-profits in the UK. This was her first experience working for a charitable organization, and needless to say it left a lasting impression.

After graduating college Jessie held various positions from pre-school teacher to an internal communications associate at 3M. After a glimpse into the corporate world, she decided it was not for her and began to look for employment in the non-profit sector - bringing her to Youth Venture.

Some of Jessie’s other interests include the Minnesota Twins, the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher football team, and being at the Minnesota lakes in the summer time.

Jessie’s role at Youth Venture is that of the new Partnership Associate for Minnesota and will be working closely with the Venture teams, the MN Youth Council, and of course partners.
