About Us
Volunteer income tax assistance for individuals of low-income, no social security, and or who are students.
VITA began eight years ago, it quickly became successful, due to the fact that the involved students gave much time and effort. Santa Barbara High School became the first school awarded an Electronic e-filing number, gaining recognition, but unfortunately not great economic support. All along we have known that we wanted to be a good cause and remain free of charge to the individuals needing our assistance. This is the reason VITA has remained successful, it is unique in that in contrast to any establishment providing the same service this is free of charge.
