About Us

A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization run by youth, Visual Arts and Music for Society (VAMS) provides valuable services to the community while giving high school students what they need to be successful leaders. We recognize the creativity inherent in all people and create a venue where people from all different backgrounds can express themselves. Whether through art, music, or event planning, everyone involved with VAMS has a chance to make meaningful contributions to the organization that will benefit greater society as a whole. While VAMS was founded to provide aid to those in need in the community, our volunteers gain lifelong friendships and skills as well. This simultaneous benefit to the students and outreach groups comes from having a student-run organization and is what has made VAMS such a meaningful part of communities across the world.
