Youth Venture Champions are an integral part of the success and consistency of the Youth Venture program. Champions are our eyes and ears in our schools, and they typically represent the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that we seek out in our Venturers. Their task is to act as a Youth Venture representative through publicity and recruitment activities, providing the Youth Venture opportunity to youth in their schools.

The champion model is currently being used through United Way Youth Venture partnerships.
More specifically with United Way of Greater Nashua and United Way of North Central Massachusetts.

UWGN 16th Annual Day of Caring!

Sep 12 2007 - 8:00am
Etc/GMT-4

Help Your Community!
September 12, 2007

Day of Caring is a fantastic opportunity to work hard, get your hands dirty, and witness firsthand the great things non-profit agencies in the Greater Nashua area are doing! Day of Caring takes place each September. For one day, volunteers from companies in the Greater Nashua and Souhegan Valley area take the day off from work to volunteer at area non-profit organizations.

United Way of Greater Nashua's 16th Annual Day of Caring will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. On this day, United Ways from across New Hampshire will mobilize about 2,600 volunteers to paint and clean up facilities, deliver meals to homebound elderly, and perform a variety of other services that the agencies often cannot complete due to lack of resources.
