Raise awareness about UN Millenium Development Goals and fundraise to find solutions.

What’s your Venture idea?
Our Venture idea is to educate our community about global issues and fundraise to help find solutions. Every year the club will focus on a different global issues presented in the millennium goals set by the United Nations. The first we will fundraise to build school in developing countries and to educate people about the lack of education in other countries.

Why does your team want to create a Venture?
Every year Americans spend millions of dollars in luxury while millions of other people around the world scrape money for a meal just to survive. According to ActionAid “Americans spend 10 million a year in ice cream”. We believe that money can be used in a more efficient way.

How will your Venture help your community?
Our venture will help inspire others to make changes in their global community and motivate them to help the world wide cause.

How will you determine if your Venture is successfully achieving its goals and helping the community?
Our success will be measured my how many people have joined our club, money raised to built schools, and knowledge our peers have gained about our issue. Our long time goal is to raise $1,000 by the end of April 2009.
