Enviromental Club

We started out with an Eagle project, Zach wanted to put a garden in behind the junior high that would attract birds and butterflies. While looking for ways to get the ball rolling, another teacher told us about Youth Venture. We looked into it and started one. Now we plan on expanding to plant also an organic garden that will use compost from composters that we will install, and will be watered with water that we gather in rain barrels. We are also planning on putting in an outdoor amphitheater that will double as an outdoor classroom.
Recently we have ran into some trouble getting our amphitheater approved by the township, we are currently working to get it approved. Also due to weather the project is on hold till the spring.
