About Us
Our Venture Goal is to Provide Computer Technolgy that Empowers Kids to Unify their Fundraising Efforts to Solve Real World Problems
I want to keep this simple because it is simple.
I am asking you to vote for an IDEA that can empower any random kid-- you or me or any one else-- who has a dream for the world.
I believe in the Power of ANYone. No generation has ever come along with more vision or more dedication to making the world a better place than ours.
I want to make that easier for all of us.
THE PLAN
A website that empowers our generation of philanthropists to pool our resources to solve real world problems using real-time, interactive computer technology. I am modeling this site after www.GlobalGiving.org, but it will be so much more than that.
HOW
This website will coordinate youth fundraising efforts around the world. When we pool our resources, we can make a monster difference. When you come to this site, which will be YOUR site, you will be able to decide who you want to help and how you want to help. Other kids who share your goal-- whether it's to provide clean water or save our oceans-- will be able to join in the project and support it.
The goal isn't to just send money to some organization.
The goal is to pool our money is so that we can:
- BUILD WELLS
BUILD SCHOOLS
PROVIDE VACCINATIONS FOR A VILLAGE
CREATE A WILDLIFE REFUGE
MAKE A TRUE AND MEASURABLE DIFFERENCE.

- WHY THIS WILL WORK
So far we helped kids from 4000 school districts report 10.4 million for hurricane relief, we worked with schools in 8 states to fund safe water wells together serving 5000 in Africa, we unified the efforts of kids in 19 countries to build and name a school for 300 students in Cambodia, we helped 10 kids from 5 states raise the money to build a home in the gulf, and more.
Now we want to rally kids around even more great projects ideas--YOUR project ideas.
MY REQUEST
A vote for this IDEA means that you will get a website that allows kids to join in your project in real time (their icon will appear next to yours on the webpage with a link to their own webpage), and together you will be able to raise funds or provide resources that can be seen on a real time thermometer. You will be able to safely network with kids who share your goals around the world, the people on the ground who are working on your behalf, and the recipient of your efforts.
All funds/resources raised for YOUR project through RandomKid will come under the umbrella of our 501C3 so that every donation is tax deductible.
