Participants help out senior citizens at Laguna Honda Hospital in San Francisco, California by spending time playing games and talking.

It all started out as an idea that Flora had for a CORO project. She needed to have a project or else she wouldn't be able to graduate from the CORO program. At first she wanted to do a karate group at school, and she told all her friends. We all thought that it was a great idea. However, the club coordinator turned down the idea due to the injuries that could result. Depressed as Flora was, she thought up of another plan. She was already volunteering at Laguna Honda Hospital during the summer, and recently the hospital was suffering from a lack of volunteers. So she decided to ask us if we wanted to volunteer at Laguna Honda Hospital as a group and we decided to give it a try. It turned out well and now we are trying to rally more members. We hope to make an impact on the community and also help the well being of senior citizens at the hospital.
We plan to continue our project next year and possibly over the summer. In that time, we will keep on trying to recruit more members through our clubs, teachers, friends, and organizations. We welcome all those who are interested or would like to work with us in a partnership to make any improvements or want us to help other teams.
