The mission of HerAgenda.com is to inspire and empower women both young and old to never let anyone slow their agenda.

Millions of young girls are exposed to messages every day that they are not good enough and do not have the strength and confidence to overcome obstacles to reach their dreams. The ideas of success that young women are exposed to are limited and seem to exist only in the glitz and glamour of their television screens and the pages of magazines. All they see are the stars but not all the other rewarding positions that exist in the world. The people who that hold positions to put those stars on the television, or make them look the way they do are not occupations that are glorified by the public. In addition, the doctors, lawyers, and other executive positions, that provide just as much satisfaction as the montage of celebrity occupations many young girls are exposed to, are not seen as such by young women. Nevertheless, with a few clicks things can change.
The website we are launching will be called HerAgenda.com – inspired by the N.E.S.H.A acronym (No one Ever Slows Her Agenda)– and will exist to fill a void among young women in today’s society. HerAgenda.com will have featured bloggers representing a wide range of occupations. The site will highlight 30 bloggers under the title “Power Agendas,” each representing a specific aspect of female leadership in areas including, but not limited to, education, politics, entertainment, beauty and science.
“No one Ever Slows Her Agenda” is a phrase that embodies the drive and persistence that has lead Rhonesha- the team leader and visionary, the founder, to the point she is at today and has allowed her to already meet a “Who’s Who” of notable and influential people. She asked women that she looks up to how she could best serve as an inspiration to other young women. The most frequent answer was at the place they spend the most time: on the Internet.
The young professionals featured on HerAgenda.com have the power to break many of today’s negative molds and show young women across America that they can achieve anything. A blog is an incredibly effective way of communicating the messages of these powerful women’s lives and connecting to young women through photos, videos, and stories of how they overcame personal and professional obstacles. Everything is blog-worthy! It displays these women both professionally and personally providing inspiration and highlighting varying degrees of success to young women across America.
The Power Agendas will highlight the selected women in a personal way. There will also be a calendar in the Update Your Agenda section of the site. Here, there will be posts about upcoming internships, panels, scholarships and events all geared towards motivated young females. The Buy An Agenda section will allow the visitors of the site to purchase an actual agenda book, and a tee shirt that says “No one Ever Slows Her Agenda.” The agenda book also dons the same phrase. In the What’s on Your Agenda? section, users can participate in an open forum talking about any topic that falls within the categories of Life, Society, or Style. HerAgenda.com’s homepage will act as a constant updater of new content from the featured bloggers, the calendar, and the hottest forum topic of the day.
HerAgenda.com will launch with a panel featuring 15 of the featured bloggers. HerAgenda.com will also develop a mentor program with the young women of the site that will exist outside the cyber world. The site will serve as a launching pad for different events, and programs, while inspiring young girls through the lives of the fabulous featured bloggers. The site will also feature a calendar of events showcasing a wide range of programs, scholarships and events throughout the year.
