trying to "green" our school

My friends Kaitlyn and Meg and I are trying to get our school to "go green" to save the environment. We are here to get our info out thinking that someone will see it and want to sponsor us because our school doesn't have that much money after the school fundings got cut by the goverment we could loose our sports and electives. Any one who lives in Jacksonville knows how it is. Well so to save our sports and electives we plan on saving the enviroment and saving our school money. We are trying to do a lot for this environment. Here are some things we plan on setting up atour school
1} We plan on setting up recycling bins around school and in our lunch room because we waste so many recyclable products it's not even funny. Also recycling all this stuff will help earn our school money so we can get started.
2} We plan onhaving lots of fundraisers like a guitar hero competion, battle of the bands, dances, bake sales, t-shirt sales ect. to be able to buy solar panels and wind turbines for our school so we can create our own energy
3} We are trying to get this grant form filled out so we have the means to start some of these fundraisers.
