Dance Troop created for Middle School kids in Brideport, CT as an after school program

Hello we are Tyree, Phil, Dominique, and Kenyetta and we are the Flavaz team. The main purpose for our group is to teach the youth of Bridgeport, CT how to be more creative and self confident people. We make this possible by giving these kids the opportunity to be a part of a hip hop dance troop. Our soul purpose is to not only teach these kids how to dance hip hop but also to teach them the importance of giving back to their communities. Not only will they learn choreography and the importance of fitness and exercise but they will also be a part of peer group discussions (future planning, choice making, etc.) and community service work (convalescent homes, etc.). Our main goal is to create a standing dance troop that the city of Bridgeport can be proud of.
