My ally, Tarryn Brandl, is the most qualified person I know, she is extremely talented, gifted, dedicated, and hardworking. Tarryn is a creative person constantly coming up with new ideas to improve my program. This past year I started the program Dance Creations at Girls Inc. of Nashua and the Nashua Children’s Home. In February, we held a dance benefit in which the kids involved in the program were given the opportunity to perform. Their teachers, students from Academy of Movement and Success Dance and Performing Arts Center were invited to perform as well. The benefit proved extremely successful and raised $800 to help continue my program in the journey for sharing the love and joy of dance. I can assure you however that the success of this benefit would not have been so without Miss Tarryn's help. While Tarryn has become a great friend of mine, she is also someone with a lot of experience in organizing and providing after-school dance programs. With a degree in dance from Dean College, Tarryn has done many community projects and choreographed several pieces. The City Dance Studio, Academy of Movement, and the Bedford Youth Performing Company have all employed Tarryn and discovered she is one who makes a difference. At such a young age, she has also been the Dance Director at the YMCA and WBCC Community. A wonderful choreographer, Tarryn enjoys working with children and has choreographed many shows including Annie Jr. for the Henniker Community Theatre, The Wizard of Oz at the Hillsboro Theatre, High School Musical for BYPC, and Crazy For You at BYPC. Tarryn also established the ASAP Dance Program and is the founder of DanceSation summer dance camps as well as the founder and director of the White Birch Community Center after school dance program. She also assisted in the beginning stages of the JSR Dance Team, has taught for Easter Seals, 21st Century, and the CHS refugee program. Tarryn is energetic and enthusiastic about everything she does. She is personable and optimistic. My ally is someone I trust to help me with my program and someone I feel comfortable talking to about anything. Whenever I have any kind of problem, Tarryn is always there to help me find a solution. She has been incredibly helpful with starting this dance program and has done more help the program succeed then I ever could have asked for! With great communication skills, Tarryn is able to communicate her ideas clearly and efficiently. She recognizes the amount of effort a person puts into their work and appreciates that effort. She is constantly challenging me to make my program even better and never to settle for anything less than my best. When I accomplish something, Tarryn celebrates the triumph and that makes me feel incredible. While she leads a very hectic life, she has managed to be there for me whenever I need her. Although Tarryn in only twenty-six, she has accomplished so much and made a positive impact on so many. This has proven to me that you can still do incredible things even if you are young. Tarryn is more than an ally to me. She is my role model and someone I aspire to be like. She is my inspiration in so many ways.
